Place two check marks in each row and column, ensuring that each check mark has its distinct territory. Check marks must not be adjacent to one another in any direction—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Therefore, no square surrounding a check mark may contain another check mark. You can place check marks or assisting crosses by clicking, and you may also remove check marks as needed. A helpful tip: solving the puzzle tends to be easier when you remember that two consecutive rows or columns should collectively feature four check marks.
